Colorado Brewfest coming to Fort Collins June 27

June has arrived, and so the countdown to Brewfest begins! The 20th Annual Colo. Brewfest will begin Sat., June 27th in Old Town Square at 11 a.m. The 2 day festival will offer music stylings from Northern Colorado artists and 50 different Colorado beers in about 400 kegs, according to Downtownfortcollins.com.

The beer selections offered will come solely from Colorado breweries, including Anheuser-Busch, Big Horn Brewery/CB & Potts, Coopersmith's Pub & Brewing, New Belgium Brewing Co., Fort Collins Brewery and Odell's Brewing.

Nothing goes better with great local beer than great live music. Local artists will perform throughout the day on both Saturday and Sunday. Here is a brief look at the music calendar:

Saturday:

  • 11:45 a.m. - 1:30p.m. Gription
  • 2:00 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. TBA
  • 4:15 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Roe

Sunday:

All artists will perform on the Old Town Square Stage.

Anybody age 21 and over is welcome. To sample, you can purchase an entry pass (2-day for $10) and $2 beer tokens at the entry station on Mountain Ave.

Ben & Jerry's will sponsor summer concerts

Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Shoppe will be sponsoring the FAC Concert Series at the Old Town Square State beginning this Friday, May 29. Mark Van Ark will perform jazz and blues, but the numerous concert dates will offer a variety of music styles, from Irish music and acoustic folk rock to swing and more.
